Wanted - your help

• Volunteer assistance is always required to help with the work on 1054. No experience is necessary as all guidance and training will be given. Why not try it for a day – day membership of the 'Bahamas' Locomotive Society is available.

• Did you work on 'Coal Tanks'?

• Do you recall seeing a 'Coal Tank' during your trainspotting days?

• Did you assist in the early days of 1054's preservation at Hednesford or Penrhyn?

• Do you have any photographs of 1054, 7799, or 58926?

As part of the current project to overhaul 1054 and to return it to traffic, we are producing a book on the history of 'Coal Tanks' and 1054 in particular. We would, therefore, like to hear your reminiscences or experiences of these engines to enable us to put a more human face to the locomotive's history and operation.
